At Woodford Lodges you will be sorrounded by the wonderful nature of Woodford nestled in the heart of the sleive aughty mountians. Our site comprises a mulitude of enviornmental habitates with our own woodland, river bank and grassland areas. Our vision is to enhance and protect these areas so that they can be enjoyed by our guests.
Our lodges are built ICF building technology. Our lodges are insulated to an A grade level so that they are supurbly comfortable all year round but keeping our carbon footprint to a mimium. All our consumable items are locally sourced and every consideration is taken to ensure these are recycled and recylable
During the construction phase of our project we have monitored the insect widlife in selected areas of our resort to ensure minimal environmental impact. This research will be continued to offer our visiotrs an insight into the wildlife in our beautiful resourt.
Our Site boarders the Sleive Aughty River. We are activly engaged with the local committee for Bio-Diversity specifically water preservation. We are also supporting a proposed river walk along th bank of this river linking the GAA grounds and the village to Derry-Craig woods.
